DSVideo v1.10 Opzioni

Nick Ludlam, Denise Wilton e Dominic Ludlam dopo un po' di silenzio, rilasciano la versione v1.10 di DSVideo, programma che permette la riproduzioni di filmati (convertiti in .dsv) sul DS.

We’re pleased to announce the release of DSVideo version 1.10. It is an update to both the encoder and the player, and includes a number of nice features as well as bug fixes:

* Battery life improved by automatically turning the bottom screen off during playback
* Fixed an issue with encoded video that exhibited stuttering audio and odd playback speeds
* An improved file browser, with inertia and smooth scrolling
* Incorporation of a much more recent version of FFmpeg

The complete list of changes is available in the CHANGES file, contained in the source package. The encoder should remain compatible with the existing GUI tools that are available, so download the correct package for your operating system, and simply replace the old version. Don’t forget to also unpack the supporting libraries contained within the package, as these have also been updated.

Per quanto mi riguarda, DSVideo è il miglior homebrew per la riproduzione di filmati su DS.
MoonShell è un homebrew insostituibile ma non perfetto nella riproduzione dei video.

Infatti col MoonShell possono esserci dei rallentamenti quando si salta da un momento a un altro di un filmato, esempio:


Invece col DSVideo questo non accade mai, neppure con le flashcard più vecchie:
