Il nostro Giovannin rilascia una nuova versione di UsrCheatUp, homebrew che permette l'aggiornamento del file cheats.dat direttamente dal DS tramite connessione WiFi.

* Added simple GUI
* Now you can see, on the lower screen, the latest changes of usrcheat.dat by Narin
* Added progression bar for download and decompression

* Auto configuration for R4, M3, N5, Acekard RPG, Acekard2 and DSTT (If you are upgrading from 0.5 before use 0.7 you have to erase the old configuration file).
* Added power off option at the end of the whole process.

DS2Win Fusion v0.82

Dopo un po' di silenzio, monkeyNZ torna a far parlare di sè con una nuova versione di DS2Win, programma che permette il controllo remoto del pc attraverso una connessione WiFi.

Changelog:

0.82 "final version"
server - movie name and frameskip are now shown while playing movies in player
client - custom keys are saved to memory card
client - recompiled with devkitpro r23

Ricordiamo che per utilizzare questo homebrew, è necessario avere una pennetta (tipo WiFiMAX o quella originale della Nintendo) che funga da Access Point per il collegamento pc <-> DS.

Eric Hobbs rilascia un nuovo porting di Quake 1 per DS.
Target principale dell'autore è quello di ottimizzare e ridurre al massimo gli "sprechi" di memoria durante il gioco.

This is a modified version of the quake source code that allows it to run on the Nintendo DS.

How to play:
You will need the PAK files from either the registered or the shareware version of quake. They need to be put in a folder named ID1 in the root directory of your flash card. The cquake.nds file needs to be patched with the appropriate DLDI driver for your card

After cquake.nds had been patched it needs to be put into the root directory of your flash card.


I have also included a modified version of progs.dat and an autoexec.cfg file. These files can be put in the ID1 directory. The progs.dat file contains no modifications; it has been compiled with an optimizing qcc compiler that reduces the memory used - by about 70k.

in order to increase the read speeds while pulling data from the flash card the libfat library is bypassed. In order for this to work correctly it is required that the pack files be completely defragmented. If the files are not defragmented the game will crash. If you do not already know how to do this then you will need to refer to the documentation for your operating system.

You will probably need to adjust the gamma settings as by default the colors can be very dark. This can be done through the console or through the menu.

The keyboard implementation in this version is horrific, but functional - just barely.
The space key is on the bottom row.

Che dite, mi conviene sostituirlo con la versione 0.5, solo per uno smile nell'angolo in alto a destra e l'elenco dei cambiamenti (che non è poco, ma la versione 0.5 mi funzia perfettamente, sulla mia carissima R4)
EDIT: provato: mi si blocca su "connected!"...
