The object of MONOPOLY is to try to be the wealthiest player at the end of the game. You earn wealth by buying, trading, and improving properties in order to charge rent to the other players. In the default rules, each player is given £1,500. When it is your turn, roll the dice and move that number of spaces. When you land on a space, one of several things can happen.||An un-owned property can be purchased for the value marked on the deed. If you choose not to purchase this property, it goes up for auction to the highest bidder. If you land on a property already owned by another player, you pay them the amount of rent noted on the deed.||Chance and Community Chest||If you land on a Chance or Community Chest space, a card is taken from the corresponding deck and you will automatically follow its instructions.||Tax Spaces||You can also land on Luxury or Income Tax. If you land on Luxury Tax, pay £100. The Income Tax space will charge you £200.||Free Parking||Free Parking is just a free resting place. By default, you receive no money for landing on this space. House Rules can be customized so that there is a chance to earn money by landing on this space.||GO||As you pass GO, you collect £200. This value can be changed via House Rules. You can also customize House Rules so that landing on the GO space at the end of your roll doubles money earned.||Jail||You can be sent directly to Jail by landing on the Go to Jail space. If you roll doubles, you get to take another turn. Rolling doubles three times in a row will send you to Jail. When in Jail, you can pay bail for £50, roll for doubles to get out of Jail, or use a Get Out of Jail Free card.||Building Improvements||Owning all like-colored properties will allow players to build improvements on the property group, as well as charge double the usual rent for opponents that land on the property. When you own all properties in a color group, you can improve them by building houses and hotels. All improvements must be spread evenly across your entire property group.||Mortgaging||If you start to run low on money, you can mortgage your unimproved properties. If you want to mortgage properties with buildings on them, you must sell your houses or hotels back to the bank for half price first. Each property has a mortgage value listed on the title deed. Once you mortgage a property, you cannot collect rent from other players who land on it. To unmortgage a property, you must pay the bank the amount of the mortgage plus 10% interest.||Bankruptcy||If you have sold all of your improvements and mortgaged all of your properties and you still owe money, you are bankrupt. If you go bankrupt, you must immediately retire from the game. If you go bankrupt paying a debt to the bank, the bank immediately sells all of your properties at auction to the remaining players if auctions are enabled. Otherwise, all of your properties will become un-owned again and may be purchased by any player who lands on them. If you go bankrupt because you owe money to another player, that player gets all of your mortgaged properties, but must immediately pay 10% of the total value to the bank. These properties are mortgaged until the new owner pays to have the property unmortgaged.

Il fatto della lunghezza ero soltanto di dover addattarlo allo schermo in caso era più "esteso" del testo originale, ma non è un problema, me ne occupo io per quello.
