E' confermato: Ace Attorney Investigations 2 rimarrà in Giappone Opzioni

Arrivano altre brutte notizie da Christian Svensson, vice-presidente di Capcom USA: il seguito del primo Miles Edgeworth: Ace Attorney Investigations intitolato in Giappone Gyakuten Kenji 2 non arriverà mai in occidente, non si parla infatti nemmeno di un'uscita americana.
La dichiarazione arriva da una richiesta abbastanza chiara fatta da diversi fan sul forum Capcom, queste sono le parole del VP:

I'll be a little more clear.

The costs of localization are higher than the forecasted return. And no, it wouldn't sell more than Okamiden (which has already sold more than the first Investigations).

Could this content show up on some other platform somewhere down the line? Possibly, but there's nothing on that front for me to talk about. I realize there are fans who would like to have this and I'll be sure to explore ways that could happen viably in the future with our strategy and R&D teams but no promises.

Il problema risiede come al solito nei costi di distribuzione e localizzazione del gioco fuori dal Giappone, che secondo Svensson non verrebbero di certo coperti dal guadagno derivante dalla vendita del gioco. Almeno per il momento non ci sono quindi piani, nemmeno remoti, per tradurre questo gioco in lingua intelligibile.

Bene, forse è ora di incominciare a studiare il giapponese!
