Attento al firewall dell'AP. Inoltre, se usi DHCP, sappi che le WiFilib ultime hanno problemi a riconoscerlo bene, quindi devi usare la config manuale.
Sigstair ha risolto il problema, ma bisognerebbe compilare le lib da CVS, non le ha ancora incluse nel pacchetto ufficiale.

Cosa gradita nella versione 4 sarebbe la gestione di più nicknames, la possibilità di avere visualizzazioni alternative a quella "per gruppi" e, soprattutto, la possibilità di manipolare la contact list direttamente da programma.

Fixes:
- Overall GUI revamping.
- Reducing socket reading delay from 500 ms to 200 ms because of a more stable wifi lib, making the overall connection speed about 2.5x faster. (reducing it further doesn't change much, most of the times sockets are empty).
- Fixed avatar sending / receiving (read incorrect session id in some cases).
- Fixed listboxes, text areas to reduce constant flicker.
- Text fields are now edited in another window, so as not to cram textboxes in the same window as the keyboard.
- Added a clearing button to text fields.
- Fixed lots of bugs related to closing windows / opening windows that caused random crashes.
- Fixed "invisible tabs" bug.
- After closing tab, previous tab is selected, instead of the contact tab.
- Fixed bug where garbage was present on some principal descriptions.
- Fixed bug where the program was likely to crash if a principal was selected and then left.
- Selectable bigger brush on Inks, bigger eraser.
- Wider color selector.
- Removed START button as logoff, replaced with a button in contact tab.
- Added check box to invert RGB subpixel alignment on top screen for DS Lites.
- Fixed Ink transmission, caused incorrect messages if resulting GIF was too big.
- Fixed keyboard inaccuracy issues (I hope).
- Added support for Caps Lock.
- Remapped buttons:
A for Accept / Update / Send / Open Tab
B for Cancel / Back
X for Close window
L, R for Move to Left tab, Right Tab
(in textbox editing, L is still backspace)
Left, Right for moving cursor left, right

Known issues:
- Beup will refuse to open downloaded avatars if their size isn't 96x96 (the standard).
- Beup will refuse to open inks if they are wider than 256 px (can't present those).
- The official MSN client will refuse to send avatars if the last one was sent less than 5 minutes ago. That means that if you chat with somebody, disconnect, and then open the tab, avatar download may fail. (wait a few minutes, then try again).

E' da ieri che sto provando questo programma e devo dire che è impressionante, funziona molto bene! L'unico problema che ho è che non riesco a fargli vedere emoticons, avatars e strings... ho provato in tutti i modi... ho creato le giuste cartelle, ho messo tutti avatar 96x96 png, ho flashato tutte le versioni, nada...
Ma come si fa?
Ovviamente sto provando sulla G6 Lite...
Ho flashato il programma in tutti i modi: col manager che gli crea pure gli slot per i save), da windows copiando in maniera normale, mettendoli ovunque in root, nella cartella beup, in quella nds... boh!
Ed il bello è che comunque io faccia funziona sempre da paura e si connette benissimo!
Però non funzionano le feature 'speciali'...

io ho un alto problema si collega tutto ok ma come gli faccio vedere i contatti? lui diche le li pisglia da solo ma nn mi aggunge nente io sono un nubbio di mesanger ho usato quello delle mie sorelle perche nn lo uso ma nn compargono i contatti e nn posso fare nente

Rilasciata la seconda versione di quest'applicazione ke permette di usare Messenger sul Ds.



Dopo una pausa di 1 mese, ecco cos'è cambiato:

Changelog: Lots
- Added support for sending / receiving user display pictures through MSNSLP
- Added support for sending / receiving INK gifs (not sure if works with official client, it does work with aMSN, kopete and others)
- Can handle now 302 Transfer in SSL auth (I think, if it doesn't, contact me)
- Added keyboard pressed key mask thingy a lot of people asked.
- Updated to devkitpro19
- Fixed bugs where some transaction ids were expected to be 1 char long
- Changed principal interface
- Can change now avatar / display name
- Fixed bug where would crash if disconnected while chatting
- Fixed bug where MSN would still consider you online / in some session even after closing (in my PC works fine, probably an error of socket closing of the lib)
- Fixed some stuff where a principal would create new tabs continuously because beup didn't recognize that it had left the one before
- Tabs now appear only after partner sends a message (so sessions used only for avatar exchange don't clutter the tab container)
- Added some sounds
- Tabs now use principal names instead of account
- Fixed chat tabs in general
- Changed button look
- Simplified principal synchronization (hope it crashes less now)
- Implemented composite glyphs for dstype (now can display accents / tildes / stuff)
- More other stuff that I can't remember.

Stuff still wrong:
- DHCP still fails sometimes (probably the lib, probably *I*'m using the lib in a wrong way)
- SSL still fails sometimes (tell me somebody is writing a native SSL lib for the DS...)
- WEP seems to crash regularly (can't check it since I don't use WEP)
- I probably should create an interface to update network config on beup itself, so people shouldn't rely on firmware / weird dhcp behavior.
- Still uses small keyboard (even though many have asked for a bigger one). Anybody knows where to get a simplistic keyboard bitmap that doesn't have dozens of shade effects?

ke differenza c'e fra la versione.nds e la versione .ds.gba???

Quella .gba è fatta sopratutto per le flash card GBA, visto che sono già patchate col loader per il ds, mentre le .nds sono per le flash card tipo ds, supercard, ecc.

Ho provato a metterlo sul mio lite con G6lite questo programma che personalmente potrebbe servirmi molto

Con il manager della g6 provo a portarlo sulla scheda, sia in dofat che in normal pero' nn va. Cioe' il programma si avvia, prova la connessione ma poi

nulla, mi da sempre lo stesso errore su Acquiring host info from DHCP.

Nn è che devo fare qualche settaggio "speciale" al router? Perche' ad esempio online con mario kart mi va..ma con questo programma no!

inaudito... ieri dopo prove e prove e prove e prove e prove e prove finalmente ha funzionato!

ho preso quella versione modificata con la grafica, 0.3 v2 rein (per supercard sd)
