ho provato due sandisc CF.
Una ultra II 512mb ed una Ultra II 1GB. Entrambe tstate con Caselvania. Con il manager 2.4 tutto perfetto (4x trim) voto 5 Con manager 2.6 il video scatta sempre con tutte le impostazioni. voto 4 p.s. con il manager 2.6 Nintendogs Chiwuava (rom 124) si blocca quando si si guardano i cani o quando lo si è portato a casa dopo averlo comprato. Con il manager 2.4 tutto ok invece. (4x trim) |

According to M3Wiki:
Sandisk Extreme III 1GB WORKS with 1x/4x DMA and Firmware E13 (also worked with the shipped firmware) GBA mode: WORKS Castlevania Test: 4 (4xDMA with Trim) This kinda scared me cuz this has 4 points with Castlevania test, I wonder how the 512 MB Standard one works

ok, i've read now your post about m3 and your doubt.
my suggestion is to buy a sd m3 (if you have a sd card already). CF m3 works very well. sd version will be better with future firmware and future manager. M3 support is very well and i think they continue to support that card for long time |

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I think SD is becoming more popular than CF. CF is I think a bit older technology compared to SD.Cause its bigger size, slower data speed etc. I hope they will make ScummDS or Moonshell compatible with SD soon..

Can I use my Digital Camera for transfering data from computer to SD card ?
One more question: Does it matter if the format of the SD card FAT or FAT32 ? I think FAT has 8 character limit. I wanna use my SD with my Digital Camera also (Canon SD110) so can I use it together ? |
