Blizzard ha confermato l'arrivo di Diablo III su Nintendo Switch, entro il 2018.
Si tratta della versione Eternal Collection, completa di tutti i contenuti extra rilasciati per il gioco e già disponibile su altre piattaforme. L'edizione Switch avrà alcuni bonus a tema The Legend of Zelda.

Thursday, August 16, 2018 — PARIS, France—August 16, 2018—The minions of Hell have grown unfathomably strong since Diablo® III’s release, but lucky for the High Heavens, reinforcements are on the way. Later this year, Nintendo Switch players the world over will join the fray with the Diablo III Eternal Collection™ and wield their systems’ portable power to slay demons and amass vast hoards of loot anytime, anywhere.

Diablo III is the fastest-selling PC game of all time**. In 2017, Rise of the Necromancer resurrected the fan-favorite Necromancer class from Diablo II, bolstering players’ forces with the gruesome powers of blood and bone. All of this is included in Diablo III Eternal Collection for the Nintendo Switch system, on top of platform-exclusive bonus items, like The Legend of Ganondorf cosmetic armor set, inspired by the iconic villain from The Legend of Zelda series.

Seppur non proprio con un annuncio ufficiale - si tratta di informazioni presenti nelle pagine aggiornate su eShop - pare che la data di lancio sarà il 2 novembre.

Pare che Blizzard lancerà degli amiibo dedicati al gioco, almeno secondo i dataminers che hanno trovato riferimenti all'interno del codice. C'è inoltre un'immagine che avvalora la scoperta.



Probabilmente ci sarà un annuncio nel fine settimana durante la BlizzCon 2018.
