Questo non dovrebbe essere il totale dopo la "quarta settimana"?

In ogni caso, a quanto si è capito: Switch resta praticamente sold-out in tutto il paese e per riuscire ad accapparrarsi uno degli esemplari degli sporadici re-stock (si parla di "due al mese") in molti casi occorre partecipare ad estrazioni organizzate dai negozi (alla mattina ci si iscrive, al pomeriggio i fortunati estratti possono comprare il loro nuovo giocattolo... Quanto amo questo Paese! ).

Era da tanto che non si vedeva un'accoglienza simile: a Nintendo il merito di aver azzeccato (apparentemente) l'idea di base e (soprattutto) il marketing... Evidentemente la strategia del "parlatene voi, noi non confermiamo ne smentiamo" sta dando i suoi frutti, ora occorre che pure l'altra ("ritardiamo il lancio per proporre un flusso di giochi ricco e costante") venga applicata, onde evitare che questo entusiasmo si sciupi.

Avevo tirato fuori i dati dal file troppo prima di postare ...e mi sono scordato a cosa si riferivano.
Ho sistemato (lasciando anche lo strafalcione ) e riporto pure qui la versione corretta...

Quindi il confronto, più che con WiiU che è uscita nel periodo natalizio, va fatto con ps4 (che in Giappone è uscita a Marzo, mi pare)... e non può che far ben sperare.

era scontato, in giappone le portatili vanno fortissimo e questa console è un ottimo compromesso per chi desidera giocare in mobilità o in salotto su un divano attaccandola a un 50 pollici.

Ben sei novità nelle prime 9 posizioni e cinque di queste sono per console Sony.
Ma tutti insieme non si avvicinano nemmeno alle vendite del capolista confermato.

Le altre tre posizioni (delle prime 9) sono occupate dai tre giochi del passato podio.

Come anticipato in testa si conferma l'ultimo Monster Hunter che supera il primo quarto del secondo milione di copie, Breath of the Wild scivola dal 2° al 5° posto (che si avvicina a un terzo di platino) e due posti più sotto 1-2 Switch.

Switch che torna a scarseggiare con numerosi avvisi di esaurito da diversi rivenditori, ma che resta comunque ben saldo al comando della classifica settimanale (una volta e mezzo rispetto a PS4) allungando (ovviamente) su quella annuale.

Conferma in testa ad entrambe le classifiche con Switch che supera le 600 mila console totali e con l'ultimo Monster Hunter che è sempre stato in testa dal lancio e che ci rimane anche vendendo circa la metà della passata settimana.

Subito dietro, nonostante il 21% in meno, torna il favoloso Breath of the Wild superando i 3 giochi nuovi che lo avevano spinto al 5° posto.

Unica novità di rilievo LEGO World per PS4 che però vende appena 11.578 copie nonostante sia al 5° posto in classifica.

Si confermano le prime 4 posizioni della classifica software (tutti più o meno in calo) e miglior novità solamente al 14° posto.

Guardando l'intera classifica si notano i 13 giochi in più per PS4 rispetto a Switch, ma con quest'ultima oltre il doppio della prima.

Confrontando invece i dati annuali un marcato incremento delle console (mezzo milione di pezzi in più) non si "riflette" nelle vendite software che anzi vedono un leggero calo.

Per partecipare al NonCorso su ARMS, ho pensato di andarmi a vedere i numero di Splatoon al lancio, venendo da una situazione assai simile. Mi sono reso conto che però da qui a giugno di console se ne muoveranno, specialmente grazie a Mario Kart
Non avevo molto da fare quindi mi sono messo a raccogliere dati su dati sulle vendite di Mario Kart e sulla relativa spinta alle vendite della console:

Fra tutte, la situazione più paragonabile a Switch mi sembra il 3DS, visto che ha avuto la distanza minima tra lancio e MK (8 mesi),almeno fino a Switch con appena due mesi Ergo, ci si aspetterebbe una spinta all'hardware quantomeno simile, con circa il doppio delle vendite settimanali rispetto alla precedente (sulle 100.000 unità), anche se secondo me potrebbe andare anche oltre (se lo stock lo permette)
Per le vendite software, direi circa la metà di 8U, con un piccolo bonus per la sete diggiochi post Zelda , quindi intorno alle 200mila copie.

Tornando a ARMS, Splatoon ai tempi riuscì a fare 150k con un install base di 2,3M. Ho dato una sbirciata ai dati google trends per il Giappone sia di Splatoon che di Arms, e mi sembra che quest'ultimo abbia riscosso decisamente meno interesse, anche se potrebbe derivare dal fatto che ARMS è un termine incredibilmente generico (ho cercato "ARMS game", "ARMS nintendo"). Mi aspetto che per il lancio di ARMS, Switch avrà superato già il milione di unità vendute, e considerando il tutto, la mia previsione si attesta sulle 75.000 unità vendute nella prima settimana.

...è solo un remake... di sicuro non venderà... ...ci vogliono giochi nuovi...
Invece ovvio esordio in testa alla classifica software per la versione Deluxe di Mario Kart 8.
Meno ovvio il dato che parla di quasi 285mila copie, soprattutto considerando che la base installata era di 700mila console (777mila adesso).

Sono infatti stati venduti circa 77mila Switch, oltre il triplo rispetto a PS4 che comunque ha un saldo positivo di circa 6mila pezzi superando i 3DS e piazzandosi sul secondo gradino.

Sorpasso pure tra le "vecchie" con Wii U che torna davanti a PS3 ...ma che non arrivano a 1000 console nemmeno "unendo le forze"

Infine guardando i dati annuali si nota che il dato software è praticamente invariato nonostante le console siano oltre 600mila in più.
