VBA Link 1.6 E-Reader Opzioni

Dopo le tonnellate di rom e-Reader rilasciate dai No-Intro+TRM è stata rilasciata da caitsith2 una versione modificata del VisualBoyAdvace Link appositamente modificata per l'emulazione dell'e-Reader.

Una volta avviato selezionate Option/Emulator/Save Type/Flash 128 e poi avviate la rom dell'e-Reader.

Dopo la formattazione della memoria e-Reader andate su Scan Card e si aprirà una finestra che vi permetterà di scegliere il file .BIN o .RAW da caricare (sono i file contenuti nei pacchetti e-Reader rilasciati).

In the past weeks no-intro dumped tons of e-Reader cards and Trashman converted the file .BINs into .SAVs.
Now it’s time for the public version, coded by caitsith2, of the VBA Link modified to support the e-Reader emulation. First of all, load the e-Reader ROM, for example “e-Reader (U).gba” and make sure that Options / Emulator / Save Type / Flash 128 is flagged.
Enter in the e-Reader menu, choose “Scan Card” and a OpenDialog will appear. From there you can load the dotcode dumps: .BINs or .RAWs.
The RAWs are the encrypted datastrips. Each RAW dump gives different CRCs, because the scan depends on reading errors. The BINs are the decoded strips, and they are unique, because e-Reader fixes the reading errors.
.SAV files are hacked versions of the BINs, which allow you to play them on hardware (with the modified e-Reader ROM) and on standard VBA versions (with the “Import Battery File” feature).
Be prepared for new dumps from no-intro & Trashman in the next weeks. The e-flood is only started!
