Total sales of the TOP 100 this week amounted to about 710,000. Owing to the success of the "Jikkyo Power Pro. Baseball 11", the sales represents 182.08% of the last week's total or increase of about 320,000 units over last week. On the other hand, the weekly average is low (73.42%), so this figure seems to be bad for this time of the year.
15 new titles went into the ranking, which means 59.69% of the ranking is new titles. 6 of the top 10 titles were new released, for instance, #1 "Jikkyo Power Pro. Baseball 11 (PS Version)" (about 205,000 units), "Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner" (about 92,000 units), "Jikkyo Power Pro. Baseball 11" (about 48,000 units), "Konjiki no Gashbel!! Makai no Bookmark" (about 22,000 units).
In the hard ware market, PS2's new color 'pearl white' helped its sale. However, it was not so much for the ever released new color.
