Il team Wiikey, uno dei maggiori fautori dell'hacking Gamecube e Wii tramite chip, è di nuovo sotto i riflettori: il team tramite un breve post sul proprio sito, afferma che a breve sarà disponibile il Wiikey U, un nuovo chip, pensato esclusivamente per l'ultima generazione di home-console Nintendo.

Benchè il clamore, posso immaginare, risieda più nella notizia dell' "avvenuto hacking" più che nello stesso WiiKey U, vi invito restare nei limiti ed evitare messaggi troppo fuorvianti

Non sono un mago del reverse-enginering, ma se si riesce ad accedere al file system...

Non sono un mago del reverse-enginering, ma se si riesce ad accedere al file system...

Non vuol dire che necessariamente devi modificarlo come fecero col wii.

Ai loro fini, la conoscenza ed il reverse del file system è necessaria per la realizzazione dell'ODE ma non è detto che poi loro stessi facciano una mod software.

A che pro poi? Si darebbero la zappa sui piedi, se ci pensi, vedi il wii.

Su 360 ad esempio x360key fa tutto, ma non han mica hackato la dashboard della 360, pur avendo accesso al file system.
