Dopo l’esperienza acquisita con le serie precedenti, EZ-Flash 2 e EZ-Flash 3, ecco l’evoluzione di quest’ultime: EZ-Flash 4, flash card compatibile con le console Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Advance SP, Game Boy Micro, Nintendo DS e Nintendo DS Lite. A differenza delle serie precedenti che avevano una memoria integrata in Mbit, quest’ultima funziona da adattatore tra lo slot per GBA (presenti in tutte le console sopra citate) e memorie MiniSD, quindi in termini di capienza fino a quasi 10 volte maggiore: "EZ-Flash 3 da 1 Gbit = 128 MB" - "MiniSD 1 GB = 1024 MB"!!! All’interno della memoria possiamo caricare sia GBA ROM e sia NDS ROM (per quest'ultime l'utilizzo è possibile previo un qualsiasi Pass compatibile con il proprio NDS), a seconda della console che andiamo a utilizzare.
